Description The Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) position is within the Specialty Services Department at the Tennessee Rehabilitation Center (TRC). The PTA will work under a Physical Therapist and with an interdisciplinary team consisting of Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, & Speech Therapy. The PTA will provide work conditioning and work hardening services to adults with developmental and/or acquired disabilities who are enrolled in employment related education and training programs (areas of study) at TRC. These services are to enhance fine motor skills through exercise and work related tasks to include productivity, work safety, speed, body mechanics, and overall job performance. All services will be delivered either through work conditioning and work hardening classes, area of study labs, and through individual therapy services.
