What you will be doing:

• Assist project personnel in planning, directing, and coordinating activities of designated projects
• Ensure project goals and objectives are accomplished within prescribed time frame and funding parameters
• Promote and enforce safety to all project team members, trade partners, owners, and the public
• Recognize and communicate change conditions with respect to the contract
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications
• Assist with constructability reviews and value engineering functions
• Assemble construction financial data and monitor costs
• Coordinate scopes of work and prepare contract bid packages
• Create correspondence to owners, contractors, subcontractors, engineers, architects, etc.
• Assist with daily job reports and schedule monitoring
• Prepare drawings and sketches to support construction work, change orders, estimates, etc.
• Complete paperwork for new field hires
• Maintain filing system and safety records
• Take jobsite photographs and maintain RFI Logs
• Assist with pre-construction activities such as construction planning and design
• Assist in project close-out activities
• Develop, implement, and administer project engineering procedures and documentation
• Interpret designs and drawings, and recommend resolutions to interpretation problems
• Communicate effectively with individuals and groups
• Use computer applications such as Word, Excel, scheduling, project controls, and job costing software
• Follow company's safety policies and procedures

Experience you will need:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in project coordination or related field
• Experience in construction industry preferred
• Knowledge of construction codes, drawings, and specifications
• Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel)
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to interpret designs and drawings
• Familiarity with project engineering procedures and documentation
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record
