Job Description Job Title: Financial Analyst 2 Location: Plano, TX Duration: 6 Months Job description: Job Responsibilities: ? Assemble spreadsheets and draw charts and graphs used to illustrate technical reports. ? Analyze financial information to produce forecast of business, industry and economic conditions for use in making investment decisions. ? Interpret data affecting investment programs, such as price, yield, stability and future trends in investment risks.
Skills: ? Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking. ? Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time. ? Basic ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses. ? Basic knowledge of economic and accounting principles, the financial markets, and reporting of financial data. ? Basic knowledge of federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations as related to accounting. ? Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and any other related financial software.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES/REQUIREMENTS: Manages SCM PSI activities including selling, sellout, inventory, WOS - Ensures planning numbers are aligned with target planning process monthly - Communicates professional emails to account team, SEA teams, and headquarters and articulates complex updates in simplified way - Communicates face to face with account team, SEA teams, and RPM teams - Reports on product PSI status, understands and executes decisions based on two sets of numbers: internal set of numbers and customer corresponding set of numbers - Strong awareness of sales activities, promotions in market, promotional performance and costs - Works closely with sales team and hold sales counterparts accountable, engages sales to drive improved sellout performance; deep understanding of numbers and ability to interpret sales results, drives actions and results - Desire to take personal ownership of business, accountable for PSI results in operating domain - Conducts Product Sales Inventory (PSI) meetings to identify sales target status and product requirements to ensure fulfillment of product development and delivery to achieve sales plans. - Develops and manages product inventory numbers to maximize selling / revenue while balancing weeks of sales (WOS) - Carefully aligns Product Inventory and Sales Inventory between SEA and Global HQ - Initiates, develops, coordinates, and implements strategic product launch plans while planning for risks and opportunities for Samsung’s operational model Required Qualifications - Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required; Advanced degree preferred - 4+ years’ of experience in a telecommunications, CPG and/or retail industry supply chain, business, finance and sales operations management - Advanced Excel skills - Minimum of 5 years of experience in building a function responsible for developing, compiling, and presenting product plans, delivery, and logistics schedules - Strong analytical and excel skills a must - High energy and ability to learn quickly - Can work under varying work pressures, flexible - Fluent in reading, writing, and verbal communications in English and Global HQ and in the translation of documents and information to and from each language - Experience researching and resolving customer product development, launch, delivery, and logistics issues - Experience developing presentations using a variety of Global HQ and English PC applications methods, including word-processing and spreadsheet software. Strong desire to work in highly collaborative environment, walks around the office and does not become chained to desk.
