Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Mapping & Integrity Analyst to lead the identification, documentation, and integrity assessment of data fields within the LARS application. This role requires strong SQL, Excel, and data mining expertise to ensure consistent, reliable data usage across multiple deliverables, including extracts, correspondence, certificates, and API data feeds. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills to engage stakeholders and document findings to ensure data accuracy and best practices.

The primary goal is to define and map all fields used within the LARS application comprehensively. This includes understanding how each field is utilized across various deliverables such as extracts, correspondence, certificates, and API data feeds. Completion of this effort will be a detailed document that accurately maps all fields, ensuring that data is consistent and reliable.

Under general supervision, this role will also be responsible for maintaining the Tennessee Department of Health's Licensure and Regulation System (LARS) and external help desk system (Zendesk). This role requires a proactive approach to resolving system issues, processing change requests efficiently, and implementing solutions as directed. Tickets will range from data pulls, reporting needs, and general system administration.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Field Identification & Documentation: Identify and document all existing fields in the LARS application and analyze their usage across various deliverables.
  • Data Mapping: Develop a comprehensive field map, detailing data types, relationships, dependencies, and usage guidelines.
  • Data Integrity Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to ensure data consistency, reliability, and adherence to best practices.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage HRB members, OGC/OIV staff, Pharmacy staff, EMS staff, and other end-users to understand field usage and resolve any existing data issues.
  • Documentation Creation: Develop detailed technical documentation, including mapping reports, data integrity guidelines, and maintenance instructions.
  • Project Management: Coordinate project activities, manage timelines, and ensure deliverables align with the overall project objectives.
