Job title: Sr. Marketing Strategy Analyst

Location: Atlanta, GA

Duration: 4 months +

Job Description:
This position gathers data and performs analyses to develop and evaluate UPS’s marketing strategy. He/She consults with internal subject matter experts to assist in identifying the best approach to gather information and solve business issues. This position follows relevant trends, works with marketing research, and conducts customer visits to understand customer needs. He/She uses in-house reporting tools and secondary data sources to gather data for analyses and decision-making. This position summarizes and communicates results of analyses to key stakeholders throughout the organization. Responsibilities: Develops subject matter expertise on internal and external sources of information for analyses to provide information for decision making. Identifies the key trends in each region/product to determine how they impact customers, industry, competitors, and UPS. Creates and updates business cases by creating sophisticated financial models based on market 3rd party and UPS data sources (e.g. BIA, Data Warehouse, etc.). Develops metrics to determine the effectiveness of marketing programs and tracks region/product performance. Presents findings cross functionally to key stakeholders and identifies opportunities to bridge relevant initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree or International equivalent Master’s Degree or international equivalent in Marketing - Preferred Experience conducting analysis Proficient in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

Must-Have Skills

 

Data Analysis & Marketing Analytics – Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data to support marketing strategy.

Advanced Microsoft Excel – Experience building reports, dashboards, and financial/business case models using data from multiple sources. Marketing Strategy Support – Experience evaluating marketing programs, campaigns, or go-to-market initiatives.

Business Case & Financial Modeling – Ability to create and update financial models and ROI analyses based on internal and external data.Performance Metrics & Reporting – Experience tracking conversion, engagement, revenue, or campaign performance metrics.

Cross-Functional Collaboration – Ability to work with marketing, product, analytics, and business teams to align strategy and execution.

Market & Customer Insights Analysis – Ability to identify industry trends, customer behavior, and competitive insights.

Presentation & Stakeholder Communication – Experience presenting data-driven insights and recommendations to leadership. Market Research & Secondary Data Analysis – Experience using internal reporting tools, data warehouses, or third-party market data.

Nice to Have

Experience with marketing analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, SQL, or similar reporting tools)

Master’s degree in marketing or Analytics
