Manager would be okay if they start remotely for 1-2 weeks but will be expected to be a the office after that. We are looking for a RAN Virtualization Systems Test engineer/OAMP Systems Test Engineer to join our Wireless network team. You will be a key contributor as a Validation engineer in a multi-functional team of R&D, Systems engineering, and product validation to introduce Client products to Wireless Carrier. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:  Responsible for product validation, feature validation, systems performance analysis, customer review sessions for LTE EMS and vRAN virtual platforms.  Analyzing the product and feature requirements, converting them into system test cases and execution to ensure product meets customer spec.  Analyzing the customer requirements, converting them into system requirements and field test plans.  Responsible for analyzing and troubleshooting issues reported from customer labs and production.  Educate our customers on Client’s new products and services both individually and in a team environment.  Ensures that customer commitments are achieved according to plan.  Works closely with various support organizations, logistics, and cross- functional teams from SEA and Client HQ to achieve successful new product roll-outs and developments. Background/Experience required:  Undergraduate Degree in engineering with 8-10 years of directly related experience is required. A Masters with 8+ years’ experience is preferred  Bachelor’s Degree is EE/CS is required  Minimum of 2 years of RAN Virtualization, EMS/NMS, OAMP & OSS knowledge/experience.  Experience with OAMP/FCAPS subsystem design and development in wireless networks  Experience in EMS systems, managing network elements, software upgrades etc  Fundamental understanding of Openstack/Kubernetes is preferred.  Experience with SNMP and TNM protocols and NMS/OSS interfaces.  Must have exposure to High Availability and redundancy systems  Must have experience authoring and implementing EMS/NMS/NE SW upgrade MOPs in commercial networks.  Strong knowledge in 5G and 4G LTE Architecture, with good understanding of Call flows. LTE/NR testing experience is preferred.  Experience with system testing activities such as feature validation, test description documentation, parameter optimization, performance analysis, test strategy creation, problem troubleshooting  Detailed understanding in managing Openstack environments  Detailed understanding in configuring virtual switches, network connections, Virtual port types (ie: SR-IOV, virtio), Security Groups, VLANs  Detailed understanding in taking snapshots, backup and recovery of Virtual machines  Troubleshooting experience using command-line tools and scripts  Understanding of Netconf protocol, YANG models & Restful API’s.  Experience in Automation & Orchestration frameworks. (ie: knowledge in the ETSI MANO specifications, OASIS TOSCA, ONAP)  Ability to travel sporadically during the project
