Title: Full-Stack Kubernetes Engineer (remote)
Work authorization: any (candidate must be authorized to work in US)
Must-have skills:
EDU : BS is preferred.
• 3+ y of exp in Kubernetes, container orchestration
and cloud-based Kubernetes systems
• exp with Linkerd or Istio
• exp with CICD mechanisms for deploying containers
using Helm charts or Kustomize
PREFERRED : AWS, GCP, or Azure
Location: Miami/Doral, FL
Client: Jefferson County Schools

Duration:12+ months with possible extensions
Additional information: The candidate should be able to provide an ID if the interview is requested, to guarantee the Client that the candidate submitted, interviewing and showing up for work is one and the same
Requirements:
• Experience setting up, configuring, managing, and monitoring Kubernetes systems in a cloud-based environment (3+ years);
• Experience in container orchestration (3+ years);
• Experience with service mesh technologies such as Linkerd and Istio;
• Proficient in CICD mechanisms for deploying containers using Helm charts and Kustomize;
• Experience with cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure (preferred);
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (preferred).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Setup, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters in a cloud environment;
• Monitor and troubleshoot Kubernetes clusters and associated infrastructure;
• Manage service mesh technologies such as Linkerd and Istio;
• Implement CICD mechanisms to deploy containers using Helm charts and Kustomize;
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of containers;
• Keep abreast of new Kubernetes and cloud-native technologies, and suggest ways to integrate them into our environment;
• Work with containerization, container orchestration, and cloud-native technologies
