Job Description; Sr RF Design Engineer Minimum of 5+ years’ experience Must have skills and experience on LTE RF Network Design & Implementation Must have experiences working with the VZW RF planning tool, Atoll Any Verizon planning tools, its’ a big plus: Fuze, Sam, Spm; NWF/Siterra Any experiences working on VZW network systems, its’ a big plus Any past experiences working in the Pittsburgh, PA and/or OH area, its’ a plus (It’s not a requirement) Must have good communication skills Redesign of a mature network to minimize capacity constraints. ensure network performance and fixes/initiatives are in place. Responsible to ensure proper documentation is provided for regulatory filing and EME compliance. Prepare timely FCC/FAA and FAS submissions using NWF/Siterra sites. System performance and optimization skills/experiences Network traffic and capacity engineering Create site design RFDS and complete plumbing diagrams. Evaluate antennas and equipment for performance and future growth. Perform radio engineering evaluations for system planning and site acquisition. Utilize propagation tools and other RF related equipment such as MapInfo, GeoPlan and ATOLL Tool for site candidate comparison, propagation and coverage review and selection, zoning and regulatory. Review of cell sites and design for upgrades/modifications. Prepare necessary zoning/regulatory filings for sites ensuring that compliance is met, and attends zoning meetings for assigned area as required. Work closely with real estate team to increase efficiency, minimize cost, and streamline processes related to site acquisition, leasing, and zoning submissions. Review real estate applications for accuracy prior to lease execution. Conduct RFE analysis, generate required reports and documents, and ensure 100% compliance to RFE mitigation standards within the allotted time frame. Work with Regulatory engineer to upload those same documents to the Ops tracker. Assisting in the training and development of new RF and Associate RF Engineers.
